New York’s Environmental Protection Fund

The Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) supports 350,000 jobs across New York in a broad spectrum of industries and adds $40 billion to the state’s economy every year.

Clean Water Infrastructure Act

New York’s drinking water and wastewater systems need tens of billion of dollars in upgrades to ensure our communities have safe drinking water and our lakes, rivers, and bays are not polluted. Funding for clean water is critical and must be continued.

Capital Projects at New York Parks & DEC

Over the last 10 years, New York Parks 2020 has funded $1 billion in upgrades to New York’s state parks system. DEC New York Works program creates new recreational opportunities and infrastructure to support the record visitation our state lands are now experiencing.

Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Bond Act

In November 2022, New Yorkers voters overwhelmingly approved the New York State to invest $4.2 billion to protect clean water, improve air quality, update infrastructure, build parks, expand renewable energy, and improve quality of life throughout the state.

For every dollar invested in land and water protection, seven dollars are returned to New York in economic benefits.
